 Rawmarsh Health Centre is a modern, purpose built and well equipped surgery, which provides easy access for the disabled, located centrally for the Rawmarsh area.

The doctors and staff at Rawmarsh Health Centre are proud to offer the highest standard of patient-centred health care. We run clinics for the management of chronic diseases such as asthma and diabetes and off a wide variety of other medical services including antenatal and postnatal care. 

In addition to everything you need to know about the practice you will also find a wealth of health-related information on this website. 

 Rawmarsh Health Centre recommends that patients sign up to the on-line access to the practice, with this facility you can book appointment, order prescriptions and request to view your detailed coded record. You can also sign up for the Rotherham APP so you can access your records, make appointments and order repeat prescriptions via your mobile devise.

If you require any communication help or require information about the practice in any other format, please inform any member of staff,  we will make sure all patients with a disability, impairment or sensory loss have the information they need in a format that can be understood.

Did Not Attend

Over the past 6 months (october 2018-June 2019) we have had 513 wasted appointments where patients have booked and not turned up and not bothered to cancel.

Appointments are valuable if you cannot attend a booked appointment please cancel either on-line or by contacting the surgery so we can offer the appointment to someone else. Thank you

Type 2 Objection

From 11th October 2018 patients are unable to register  type 2 objections via a GP practice. Patients wishing to opt-out must go to www.nhs.uk/your-nhs-data-matters where you can find out more about data sharing.  A type 2 objection is when NHS digital are instructed not to share a patients confidential information beyond their individual care. I.e Dissent from disclosure of personal confidential data by Health and Social Care information centre.
