We NO LONGER accept any repeat prescription requests from Community Pharmacies on behalf of patients. Patients(or their carer, nominated family member/friend) will have to order repeat prescriptions directly from the GP practice themselves. Collection of prescriptions from GP practices by Community Pharmacies on behalf of patients will not be affected.
You should give 48 hours notice for all repeat prescriptions (this period excludes weekends and bank holidays) The counterfoil which was attached to your prescription should be placed in the box provided at reception after ticking the items that you require. Please only tick the items that are authorised for repeat.
Repeat prescriptions can also be ordered online. New users are required to register for this service.
Collection of Repeat Prescriptions
Prescriptions should be collected from surgery within 2 working days of placing your request. if you would like your prescription posting back to you, please attach a stamped address envelope. The local pharmacy also has information on collection and delivery services which may be available to patients.
ELECTRONIC PRESCRIPTION SERVICE
You are now able to nominate a Pharmacist of your choice to send your prescription to. When you order your repeat medication, your prescription will be sent directly to the Chemist you have selected via our EPS system and be available to collect 48 hours later.
