- For on the spot help to sort out problems quickly on your behalf.
- For someone to listen to your concerns, suggestions or queries, and make
sure they are used to help improve the services we provide. - For advice and support for you, your families and carers.
PALS also provides information on a wide range of health matters such as:
- Local health services including doctors and dentists
- Local and national support groups and voluntary organisations
- Information on illnesses, conditions and treatments
- How to look after and improve your health
- Help with NHS costs, such as prescription charges or dental and optical costs
- How to complain about health services
PLEASE NOTE
From 5 August 2011, the Health Advice Centre situated at Rotherham Community Health Centre will close. PALS will relocate to the NHS Rotherham headquarters in Bramley. It will continue to offer a telephone, email and postal information service. Face to face appointments will be available on request.
Phone lines will be open 10am-4pm Monday to Friday except Bank Holidays. At all other times please leave a message and a PALS officer will return your call as soon as possible.

The Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) is a confidential service designed to help you with any information, concerns or queries you have about NHS services in Rotherham.
