Reshaping Rotherham: 24 January 2013

Learning from four years of delivering services for children and adults through the Rotherham Healthy Weight Framework

In association with the National Obesity Forum, Rotherham Public Health is holding a conference focusing on its award winning Healthy Weight Framework. As well as an overview of current national policy on overweight and obesity, the event will examine what the evidence base tells us we can do about it and the successes and challenges for the services commissioned by NHS Rotherham to provide weight management advice and support for children and adults.

Who should attend?

Local authority and NHS commissioners, Elected Members (especially Health and Wellbeing and Children and Young People's Cabinet leads), Children and Young People's service leads, CCGs, primary and secondary care clinicians, public health academics and practitioners, physical activity and weight management service providers.

Where is the conference being held?

New York Stadium is the new home of Rotherham United FC. In the centre of town, it is easily accessible by car (M1, J33) and by rail. There is free on-site parking for conference delegates.
