Seasonal flu

2012

Flu is on the increase and this year the annual flu vaccination includes protection against the three main strains of flu that are circulating, including swine flu.

Those people in the ‘at risk’ groups can take advantage of the free vaccination to protect them against becoming ill.

Pregnant women are strongly advised to have the vaccination as well as those aged 65 and over and younger people with long-term conditions such as heart disease, diabetes, asthma, multiple sclerosis, serious kidney and liver disease.

To arrange you flu vaccination please contact your GP surgery.
